Az iskolai bántalmazás egyre súlyosabb jelenség társadalmunkban, amely nemcsak a bántalmazott gyerekek lelkén hagy mély nyomot, hanem családjaikon is. A dráma valós eseményekre épül, és figyelmeztet arra, hogyan reagálunk – vagy éppen nem reagálunk – erre a kegyetlen valóságra.
A történet egy nyolcéves, tiszta szívű fiú sorsát követi, aki még hisz a mesék varázslatában, amikor egy kontrollálhatatlan eseménysorozat áldozatává válik. Minden egy iskolatáskával kezdődik, amelyet kedvenc karaktere díszít a jól ismert Én kicsi pónim sorozatból. Ami a gyerek számára örömforrás lehetett volna, végül egy botrány kiindulópontjává válik.
Láthatjuk a kétségbeesett szülőket, a lelkileg traumatizált gyermeket és a rendszert, amely ahelyett, hogy védene, inkább megtör. A zaklatás jelensége egyre súlyosabb, erőszakos cselekményeket generál, amelyek helyrehozhatatlan tragédiákhoz vezethetnek: öngyilkossághoz, sőt akár bűncselekményekhez is.
Az előadás nem kínál válaszokat, de kérdéseket vet fel. Nem prédikál, de gondolkodásra késztet. Mindannyiunkról szól – szülőkről, gyerekekről, érző lényekről – és arról, hogyan tekintünk egymásra.

Duodrama in 70 minutes.

The film is based on a real incident that occurred in North Carolina in 2014. A nine-year-old boy, Grayson Bruce, was bullied by his peers and marginalised at school for carrying a backpack featuring the pink pony from the popular series My Little Pony. Instead of addressing the bullying, the school administration opted for a “simple” solution: they banned the child from bringing the backpack to school. Only parental intervention and public reaction forced the institution to acknowledge its mistake.

Starting from this case, Antonella Cornici constructs a tense and deeply affecting performance that explores the conflict between two perspectives: those of the parents – a husband and wife who love each other, yet differ in their views on raising their child. From this opposition arises a painful confrontation that extends beyond the family sphere and becomes a reflection on intolerance, personal freedom, and the right to be different.

The tension is present from the very first moments. The music – serious and mysterious – signals an imminent threat. The scenography creates a fragmented world: scattered chairs and suspended lamps, like pieces of a puzzle the young couple is trying to assemble. In this austere yet poetic space, light becomes an essential character.
